The Apple Crisps are still for sale! Please continue to sell our delicious, homemade, organic Apple Crisps!
The Annual Auction will be April 28th, and we will need every parent’s help to make it a fun, beautiful and fantastic evening! Watch your school mailbox for further information.

Please remember that your volunteer work is vital to keeping tuition affordable and maintaining the quality of the Montessori experience for our children. Each parent is encouraged to contribute a minimum of 30 hours during the course of the year.

We accept children ages 2 & 1/2 to 6 who are potty trained. Our morning program runs from 8:15am to 11:30am, followed by an optional lunch and outdoor play time. The afternoon program (12:30 to 3:30) is generally for 4 and 5-year-olds who do not need to nap. Our morning program can fill up quickly, so please contact us right away to get on the waiting list.

Keeping it all Straight

The Orcas Montessori School is a preschool serving children ages 2 & 1/2 to 6 years. It is located at ll47 North Beach Road. There is also a Montessori program in the Orcas Island Public School that serves children in grades 1-3. This public school program was founded by parents who were delighted with the education their children had received at our Orcas Montessori School and who wished to keep their children in a Montessori program as they transitioned to grade school. The public school program is sometimes known as OMPS or Public School Montessori.
